Charter your way to pickleball paradise

The Pickleball Club St. Lucie West arranges charter bus ride to sister pickleball club in Sarasota

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — The Pickleball Club, a firm founded in 2019 that develops and operates private, membership-based high-amenity indoor pickleball facilities throughout Florida, is launching the Pickleball Express, offering two opportunities to visit The Pickleball Club of Lakewood Ranch to give prospective members a chance to see a similar club before the St. Lucie West club, located across from Clover Park at 455 NW Enterprise Dr. in Port St. Lucie, opens in May.

On Saturday, March 30 and Saturday, April 27, members and non-members will meet at 1860 SW Fountainview Blvd. in Port St. Lucie at 8:30 a.m. to embark on a charter bus trip to The Pickleball Club of Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota. A continental breakfast will be served prior to the bus leaving at 9 a.m.

Upon arrival at the Lakewood Ranch club, attendees will experience the club’s 12 indoor and two outdoor championship-grade pickleball courts, play in a two-hour round robin, have lunch at Pickles Café and enjoy all the club has to offer before returning home. Refreshments will be served during the drive back to Port St. Lucie, and guests are expected to return home at 7 p.m.

The Pickleball Club’s first location is now open and operating in Sarasota near Lakewood Ranch, to much success. Located at 1300 Sarasota Center Blvd., the facility features championship-grade courts with permanent nets, an outdoor players’ courtyard, Pickles Café, Dink’s Pro Shop, an indoor players’ lounge observation deck, luxurious locker rooms and a HEPA filtered air-conditioned environment.

The event is $300 for non-members and $250 for members. To reserve your spot, call 772-264-4947.
